Who we are
Lunadi's Apothecary was brought to life by Nadia Alvarez in October of 2018. Nadia is a training herbalist and green witch from the South Side of Chicago, who has always felt a closeness and affinity for connecting with Mother Earth and working with her sacred energy and offerings. The path of service has always pulled at her heart. Communing with plants and herbs is part of her everyday world, practices, and have been a catalyst in her healing journey. Just like us, herbs and plants have their own unique spirit and energetic vibration. There is so much wisdom and enrichment to be gained by working with their energy, healing, and magical properties. Our ancestors knew these ways and knew the power and importance of living in harmony with the Earth. They paved the way for us and left behind valuable knowledge of the ways they harnessed the energy and benefits from these plants and used them throughout their lives. The goal of Lunadi's Apothecary is to reestablish those connections between human and the spirits of the earth and to allow others to experience the magic that happens when working with intention and purpose and honoring the Earth and sacred elements. Our Apothecary offers tools to help assist you on your spiritual path and connect back to the essense of life by working with the Earth herself. Our products are handmade by Nadia herself. The herbs and plants used are carefully and intuitively chosen and blessed with intention and prayer before they get to you. We believe in the power and enrichment of Mother Earth's medicine and all she has to offer us if we tap into and honor her and ourselves with it's magic and blessings.
